With just one win in five against Maidstone, we urgently need to improve our form against The Stones. That sole victory came last season, as Shaun Pearson’s late header clinched a scrappy victory. It turned out to be the only one we managed in nine games under Andy Davies and Carl Darlington as our promotion hopes slipped away.

The previous season they enjoyed their first victory at The Racecourse, triumphing 3-1 despite Jordan White’s towering header putting us ahead.

You don’t want to leave your seat early today, as we’ve a habit of scoring late goals when Maidstone come to The Racecourse. Five of the fifteen home goals we’ve put past them came in the final fifteen minutes, a tradition we began in the first clash between the sides in 1990.
