The Genero Adran Premier kicks off today, but it’s hard to find coverage unless you dig deep. Here are some sources of information to get you going.

Y Clwb Pêl-droed
An excellent, regularly-updated resource which actually carries opinion-led pieces, making it a valuable rarity.

Grassroots North Wales
An admirable online presence, it caters for all sorts of sport, but offers occasional useful insights on the Adran Premier.

Anything by Megan Feringa
A leading advocate for Welsh women’s football (and with a subtle soft spot for Wrexham), it’s always worth googling Megan to keep in the loop. To get you started, here’s her work for The Mirror and Wales Online.

Adran Premier Official Site
Something of a disappointment, to be honest. There’s been a bit more posted over the opening weekend of the season: let’s hope it’s a sign of things to come.

Cymru Football(app only)
In stark contrast to the FAW’s official site, their live app is unbelievably good. All the stats you could possibly need are here, and it goes right down the leagues too. Available for iOS and Android.

Sgorio
Not much in terms of written coverage of women’s football, but they do carry live streams of Adran Premier games.

BBC Welsh Football Page
If you look closely you might find occasional pieces on women’s football here. Good luck.

Wikipedia – Women’s Football in Wales
An interesting introductory overview.

Her Game Too
Not a source of news, but an important group campaigning for equality in sport. Wrexham AFC are affiliated with them: friends of Dragonheart and die-hard Wrexham fans, Chelsea Humphreys and Nic Hughes, are the club’s Her Game Too ambassador and advocate respectively.
