It started with my Mum and Dad getting Andy Morrell’s autograph*
And the Gaffer was waiting impatiently for his team to arrive.
The Beast filled his time by filming one of the club’s true heroes.
As the players started to get on board.
And the team managed to set off.
All signs pointed to Wembley.
Our hotel room view was pretty useful: nice chance to gaze at The Racecourse South

And we were treated to the sight of Wrexham merchandise on sale in North London.
Inside Wembley there was an impressive array of Joey Jones memorabilia….
..well, he was the first Welshman to win the European Cup, remember! Surely he deserved a better plate to commemorate that!
Meanwhile, BBC Wales caught up with Waynne Phillips on Olympic Way.
I got to commentate at Wembley!
Some other cool stuff happened…
And Alex also got to do the post match interviews!
I got my picture taken with some bloke and a lump of metal.
And someone wrote something excellent on our tactics board!
The scorer of Wrexham’s first goal at Wembley spoke to the press.
And as last person out of Wembley, I got to turn off the lights.
*It wasn’t for them.**
**Or me.
