Mark, a very well done on all your work in support of Wrexham AFC. Your words are always well considered and articulate in delivery. I am sure your enthusiasm encourages many to follow the “Reds.”
On another issue, the Luke Armstrong transfer collapse. From what I see and hear the Club failed to meet the 11pm deadline with paperwork etc. However it has always been my assumption that Wrexham AFC comes under the jurisdiction of the Welsh FA for transfers, suspensions tribunals etc. If this is the case, ie, a player transfer from a club in England to Wales are we not talking about an international transfer meaning the deadline would have been midnight and not 11 pm? I am sure hard working and loyal staff like Geraint Parry would have considered all the facts, but it all seems so strange. It must be totally devastating for Luke Armstrong and very frustrating for Phil Parkinson in his efforts to further strengthen the squad in a way that he as manager deemed appropriate. Maybe January will bring some joy?
